To go Alone is a melancholic exploration game created for Global Game Jam 2015. The team stepped out of their comfort zone by creating an emotional and meaningful experience. Equipped with only a star map players set out on a journey to find a close friend. The game utilizes a simplistic art style, to encourage player’s imagination.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully envisioned a game idea suitable for a 48 hour project.
- Provided creative direction and vision for mood, look and feel.
- Created game concepts and player interactions.
- Directed game development throughout the process.
- Modelled 3D assets in Blender.
- Presented final product at Global Game Jam and Full Indie in Vancouver.
